I have a unlocked VTA-CV running VTA-11.4.0-r060331-1.00.08-r061127.img. I have SNTP setup, but the time with callerID always shows UTC time, 5 hours ahead my local time. Is there any place I can setup my time zone info? |

Open the file and find the element named "timezone". Change the attribute to read: STD5:0DST,M3.2.0,M11.1.0. Upload the file and you're done. -- ---------------- P1-19-33987

| reply to akoei I'm pretty sure that I posted this earlier along with the reference link explaining settings for various time zones. Now I cannot find this either Sorry!
P.S. FYI - the settings are similar for VTA-xx, VTech ip8100, PAP2v2,... - keep this in mind while searching. |

But do I need to add a xml tag "timezone" by myself? and under which parent tag? |

It's been a while since I've tinkered with one of these and I forgot that it is not there by default. Here is an image of my VTA that shows where to insert "timezone". |
